In "Let them eat fat" Critser explains how alot of these fast-food companies are targeting mostly poor neighborhoods.He explains how McDonald's good cheeseburgers are purchased mostly by the inner-city black young kids. This is due too the poor wanting more cheap food.
After reading this article i think people should consider eating alot more healthier because how does one meal at Mcdonald's go from 680 calories to more then 1,340 calories.Now that's food for thought
Whats worst is how Critser Say's " that the most important fast-food innovation of the past twenty years, the sales gimmick known as Supersizing".That's what 680 to 1,340 calories really means going from Small to really big.Imagine if we as people really took the time to think about how many calories and what the food we consume really has inside.Also this fast-food that we enjoy eating could cause alot of health problems that use young men suffer from like for one example diabetes.This and other health problems cause damage to your body over time.Personally for example i have a 14 year old cousin he used too play alot of sports as a younger kid but now he has problems manging his weight.At 14 he should still be active with sports but from having poor eating habits he no longer has the energy to move around alot.To think now at the age of 16 hes is now has to mange his diabetes.

In the article "Where the Whale Be At?: The Place of Race and Racism in the Discussion of Environmentalism" T.Cole discusses facts and gives his opinion about why people of color should care about their environment.He mentions how there between 130,000 and 450,000 abandoned wastes sites located in or near low-income,working-class people of color communities.Also how African Americans are more prone to illness such as AIDS,stroke,cancer and heart disease.How there are a lack of full service supermarkets in low-income communities meaning that these communities don't eat as much of vegetables or fruits.so caring about your enviorment and what surrounds it should spark someone interest to why all of these things make huges differences for use that live in these communities.

Blog 9: Summary of The Meatrix
The Meatrix
In this short film moofius a cow tells neo the pig about the truth about factory farming.How greedy corporations have moved in and made many local farms disappear.because these animals live in really bad conditions animal cruelty is practice and heavy amounts of antibiotics are feed to these animals to keep them alive but this also cause the appearance of antibiotic resistant germs.These animals produce alot of waste which in cause massive pollution to local communities.There is way to stop this from happening one way is to support local farmers.
The Meatrix: Revolting
In this second part of the short film the Narrator Moofius goes into more depth into the factory farm.Cow mutalation like cutting of the tails and again antibiotic overuse.These corporations use artificial hormones such as RGBH which cause increased growth rates.Also the calves are separated from their mothers and are feed milk derived from dead animals the dead are feed back to the living but this in causes diseases in the animals such as Mad cow disease .In the end moofius is capture and neo yet again reminds use that we can still stop these corporations by supporting local family farms.

In this final part of the film moofius is brought into this factory farm the agent has moofius tied down and tells him how the factory operates it process 5000 cows a day.all this to feed Americas fast food nation.but this fast pace enviormant also cause dangerous working conditions for the workers inside this factory this all in the name for profit that is name for it.Because of the fast pace lines theres Manure in the meat that falls from the dead animal.this cause a great risk of Bactria

I think people should becarefull on how they use technology.Facebook,twitter and even myspace are means to reach people by the masses.You could use technology to attack someone without even knowing it.
In "the net is the real world" Simms and Magid explain how two students of Rutgers university were arrested on invasion of privacy charges.and how on sep 19 the actions of these two students led to the suicide death of Tyler Clementi.
We all use technology in some or another way.Facebook is a social site were peole all over the world could reach and commnaciate with another.posting pictures of ones vacation or even a wild night of partying can be viewed on your page hence becarefull what you put up on your wall.
Twitter is a more water dwon version of its other counter part this one lets you follow someone you may or may not know.and it also allows other people to follow you.Defamation of someone,s characther can be seen here because it lets you talk to radoom people at once.but its all on you as a person you could say things here that you wouldnt normally say in your real world.
Myspace do i really need to get into this one? impersonation of someones happens here all the time i see people attacing other people verbally all the time.people should just handle this on a more personal level insteed of letting the whole world in on it.
